We will remove and restore seven windows approx. 7’-0” x 40’-0”. The windows are the work of Rudolph H. Buenz who learned his art in Germany in the 1920’s. He was known as the Maestro by his young apprentice Charles Ziegler (CZ) Lawrence. “CZ” began working with Rudy Buenz in 1956 and throughout his rigorous career, has become a renowned stained glass designer with noted installations including the Washington Cathedral. The windows were originally stone set with aluminum vertical tee bars attached to horizontal bars. The incompatible metals created a total structural failure. We will fabricate and install and new double glaze aluminum system with zinc chromate painted steel.
