The Gulf War Memorial dedicated on Sept 11, 2019, at the Legislative Plaza in Nashville. The memorial consisted of the 3-1/2 inch thick laminated low iron 120-pound glass discs with imbedded gold stars. The low iron glass will project more crystal clarity without the normal greenish cast.
The memorial was designed by Kem Hinton, a local architect credited with several notable Nashville landmarks such as the Frist Museum, Country Music Hall of Fame and the Music City Center among others.
